New Orleans Commercial, Corporate Event and Product Photographer
Wayne A. Ferrara

It's always a pleasure to share my event photography and commercial work with other industry professionals here in New Orleans and around the country; thank you for stopping by. Just click on any of the links above to review samples from a few of my recent corporate headshot shoots, commercial event photography, advertising, product and editorial style photo shoots.

As a commercial event photographer and an expert corporate headshot photographer in New Orleans, my objective is to provide commercial and corporate clients in the metro area and from out of town with digital photography results that accurately reflect what they have in their mind's eye regarding the photography for their finished commercial product or ad campaign. I enjoy working with event planners, creative agencies and their clients with the objective of turning a concept into a viable ad campaign or event portfolio. Corporate headshot clients in particular are exceptionally pleased with their results and the fact that we offer special group rates on headshots for professionals...PLUS we offer minor technical adjustments and touch up work as part of our fee!

Something about photography has always amazed me and I've been an active photographer ever since I purchased my first 'Kodak Brownie' film camera at the age of twelve. While Kodak is now mostly history and the world of photography has changed dramatically since the days of box cameras, my dedication to the craft of photography has not. Today of course, I use all digital, professional Canon equipment and lenses, along with a host of digital imaging software including Photoshop CS6. Even though I have over 16 years of applied experience with Photoshop, my objective as a professional photographer is to always get the best possible image from my camera first! Nevertheless, if you need a little "photo magic", you're in good hands.

I've lived and worked in New Orleans most of my life and love the city; it is indeed, a truly magical and one of a kind place....especially for a photographer. New Orleans is not only host to a huge amount of conventions, trade shows and special events at the Morial Convention Center, but the rich culture and history we have here in New Orleans is totally unique and can't be compared with anywhere else. Even our hotels are unique, making them great locations for groups interested in hosting corporate headshots for their associates or spectacular events.

My partner in life and invaluable assistant Elaine is originally a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil and has lived in the US for over sixteen years. Elaine is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English. As a photographer however, she is truly an emerging artist in her own right, with an eye for composition and innovative perspectives in her approach to photography. Getting to know new clients is always a pleasure for both of us.

We consider ourselves unique in how we serve our commercial and corporate event groups. As professional photographers, we make every effort to provide you with truly personalized attention and professional imaging results in order to achieve and exceed the expectations of you or your client. Whether it's an event or corporate headshot session, the photography results will please evryone.

Our Rates are Based on Your Commercial Event Needs
or the size of your corporate headshot group

As commercial photographers, we have a competitive, hourly base rate. However, our quotes are based on the details of your project and the length of time we work together. In most cases, we offer full-day discounts! With corporate headshot sessions, it is often based on the number of participants. We also offer group discounts on corporate headshots. If you're providing multiple corporate headshots as a promotional tool at your convention trade show booth, that would be priced differently. Naturally, every assignment varies from one to the next and requires an individual approach. In order to provide you with a competitive quote that meets your budget, we ask that you contact us so we can ask a few questions about your corporate event or other commercial project; then we will be better able to serve your needs. While many photo shoots are fairly straightforward, others may be more complex...requiring that we provide models and make up artists for example. Whichever the case may be, we will listen to your needs and offer the best approach possible to reach your goals and exceed your expectations.

Don't have your own art department? We also offer ad layout design work for boutique ad agencies without a full time graphic design team. Whether it's straight ad copy or complex composite work, we have over seventeen years of applied experience with Photoshop and other imaging software packages. You can expect results that are crisp, clean and seamless....on deadline and within budget.

Our base rate is only $295 per hour for all commercial photography assignments in the New Orleans metro area with a two hour minimum and we offer discounts for extended hours. This includes photographer, basic equipment and an assistant as needed. Full day discounts are available and vary depending on client needs. In addition, we have one of the fastest turnaround times in the city. Because every assignment is different regarding hours needed, required equipment, graphic design work, budgets and client expectations, we ask once again that you contact us with details about your project to obtain an accurate and competitive quote for your specific needs. Based on the details you provide, we can offer realistic, competitive and itemized rates by the hour and by the day as well as a special flat rate that includes full licensing fees for print or other media use, tailored specifically to your needs.

Some clients ask us, why our rates sometimes vary from one assignment to the next. Well, there are a number of things that can make the cost of a shoot vary from one to another. For example, on occasion an agency may ask us to purchase props, wardrobe, set decorations and accessories not provided by their client. Also, some specialty locations, such as luxury hotels and various landmarks in the city charge a fee to use the premises. Other clients may ask us to contract make up artists and hair stylists for the models. In addition, some assignments may require equipment rentals such as specialty lenses or lighting depending on the scope of the client's concept. If the assignment requires travel to destinations or locations outside of the metropolitan New Orleans area or other expenses as previously mentioned, clients will be billed accordingly. Otherwise, our rates are usually based on the length of time required to provide you with the results you expect to achieve with your project. It's important for you to know that basic post processing, such as technical adjustments and minor editing are included in our fee. For groups scheduling corporate headshots, the amount of equipment we bring may vary. Some clients prefer corporate headshots that have a special "on location" look to them. Others prefer a studio style headshot.

We always do our best to work with any budget that is reasonable and realistic.
Just like our clients however, please keep in mind that we value our work and naturally, we have our own monthly business expenses which must be met.

We look forward to working with you. Thanks again.
